Deciphering Code

All of these paintings are encaustic and oil paint. Encaustic is a beeswax, pigment and damar resin paint that is applied molten, then cools and can be layered, scrapped, and gauged. For this series I was interested in the circle within the square composition using a central radiating motif as the focus.
