it is the peripatetic life that informs my work.
years spent wandering, exploring, even if only in my imagination.
a wanderlust for places and experiences has
brought me to worlds beyond my own,
and i’m moved to set out again.
from suburban boston to peru, china,
the himalaya by bicycle,
with years in the corporate fashion world in new york and london,
all of these lives are present in the work that i do.
now living close to nature in the rocky mountains adds further layers,
and i look to integrate it all through imagery, texture, color and text.
each painting is a pilgrimage to some strange and sacred place
that does and doesn’t exist.
